TWO GIVEAWAYS BELOW!

Hi everyone! I hope my tiny break from advertorials and sponsored reviews have given you a fresh breather on hellomrstan.com. ;) Like most bloggers, I believe that our readers are coming back again and again not because of the advertorials we write, but our entries on sharing our lives.

Since my previous entry on battling with thrush, I just wanna thank everyone who has been checking up on me, hehe. I'm recovering well; went to the doctor immediately when the sun rose and I was prescribed some anti-fungal cream while Dylan had some edible anti-thrush cream in orange flavour that he enjoyed so much! -__-

As we're speaking now, my nips are no longer itchy and there are no more rashes, but I'm still keeping up with the cream and washing all the clothes/toys with vinegar. I read some stuff on the Internet that said that I shouldn't use anti-bacterial wash because anti-bacterial kills off those good bacteria that is supposed to maintain the "balance". I'm not so sure, but I haven't been using Dettol for the time being. What do you guys think?

I think I must have talked about our little business to death but it has been a really exciting journey so far! If you don't already know, Nian and I decided to start a little business some one month ago selling tickets to various attractions like the USS, SEA Aquarium, Adventure Cove, River Safari, Zoo and whatever else you can think of.

We are currently doing our best to spread the word as much as possible via our new Facebook Page - Hello Lobang, hence the giveaway picture above. You can take part in the giveaway from our facebook page ya! (This is giveaway #1, there's another one below, go on reading!)

Then apart from that, we are also busy gathering feedbacks and photos from our customers so as to reassure our customers that we are not quacks or cheats LOL. ^-^

Alright, alright. Back to review proper!

I've been trying out Hada Labo's new release recently and I would like to share with everyone of you - especially if you have sensitive skin and have problems using other skincare products.

The ES on the bottle actually stands for "Enjoy Skincare". The idea behind this ES range is that Hada Labo wants to enable everyone to be able to enjoy a full set of skincare products - including people with sensitive skin.

One thing I really appreciate in all Hada Labo products, including this ES range, is that it is free of fragrance, colourant, alcohol, preservatives and mineral oil - some of the main culprits to skin aggravation.

Here's the difference: this ES range for sensitive skin also features Zinc Hyaluronic Acid - an ingredient composed of Nano Hyaluronic Acid and zinc. According to the results of preclinical studies on wound healing, Zinc Hyaluronic Acid is proven more favourable than that of the usual Sodium Hyaluronic Acid.

Zinc Hyaluronic Acid is capable of free radical removal, is an antioxidant, and provides proinflammatory effects as well as an acceleration of chronic wound healing.

Texture wise, it is quite similar to the usual Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Lotion. It gets absorbed by the skin very well and hydrates it almost immediately.

As the past week has been really hazy, my skin broke out (again!) with zits on my forehead and chin and I'm currently nursing a mother of a zit on my nose. -__- My lips have been flaking and cracking at the slightest smile and it doesn't seem like drowning myself with bottles and bottles of water is helping much. :(

As such, I've been staying away from stronger lotions and moisturizers and keeping things to as minimal as possible. I have been using the ES Lotion on my face twice a day and the Mentholatum Deep Moist on my lips whenever I feel like my lips are gonna crack.

Personally, I feel that the usual Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Lotion itself is quite gentle to the skin, but the ES range now has altered the ingredients such that even people with super-sensitive skin can also use it without suffering from aggravated effects.

After using it for the past week, my skin becomes noticeably less dry, especially my cheeks area. The breakouts are also more controlled - probably because I've stayed indoors more often and I try to apply moisturizer regularly to act as a barrier between the haze and my skin.

There are altogether 4 different products in this ES range - the foaming wash, make-up remover, ES lotion and ES milk and they are available at major retail outlets.

Do you have severely sensitive skin and have to be very careful with what skincare you use? Well, I have three bottles of Hada Labo ES Lotion up for grabs!

Terms & Conditions:
- Contest is open to residents in Singapore only
- Winners have to respond to the winning email within 48 hours. A new winner will be drawn in the event of no-show
