Pampers Active Baby Series (Part 2)Monday, April 15, 2013
This post is brought to you by Pampers Singapore
Previously in my first post, I talked about the overall physical appearances of the Pampers Active Baby and I promised to share more about its absorbency ability in this post, so there you go!
A 12-hour long diaper says a very good morning to all of you....! Dylan woke up with a big grin on his face, as usual! As you can see from the picture above, the Pampers Active Baby diaper doesn't seem to look like it is full, does it?
I touched the insides of the diaper, where Dylan has been peeing on, and it felt dry and warm. It is a little sqishy because the pee has been absorbed by the diapers and stored below, but otherwise, I think it is still pretty comfortable to be wearing it.
(I know it sounds kinda gross to be touching Dylan's pee with my bare hands but really, when you're a mom, all these are just... normal. LOL)
Because the Pampers Active Baby is already very thin on its own, it doesn't feel very heavy, even when it is full.
For a better comparison, I've also put our usual diaper through the 12-hour test.
The most distinctive difference between Pampers Active Baby and our existing diaper is that the latter is very thick to begin with, so when it is full, it is almost sliding down Dylan's waist, which makes it a little uncomfortable for him.
Apart from that, it also looked like he has a ginormous backside, hahahaa!
Our existing brand also failed us once last week, the first time ever! Dylan passed a whole lot of motion and combined with a full load of pee, we had him waking us up at about 5AM to give him a change in diapers and realized that there was poo on his thigh......
So after that explosive incident, we got him to wear Pampers Active Baby for his night time diaper - so far, so good.
If you're looking for a diaper with high absorbency, maybe you might want to consider Pampers Active Baby. It rides pretty high at the back, coupled with elastic sides and extra locking area, you can be sure that explosive boo-boos are kept to the minimal.
In my next Pampers Special post, I will be giving another parenting tip... on travelling! So do remember to stay tuned, good night!!
