VMV Hypoallergenics Part 2/3

Monday, January 28, 2013

Hello everyone!

Today's Sponsored Review is the second part of My VMVery Favourite Things. The first part was written a fortnight ago and it covered the Re-Everything Face-Hand-Body Lotion, Know-It-Oil and Creammmy Rich Intensive Moisture Milk.

Just a short look-back, here's how My VMVery Favourite Things look like again!

Looks like a box filled with desserts isn't it?

In it is filled with 7 marvellous items and today, I will be reviewing the Grandma Minnie’s Mommycoddling All-Over Lotion (From top left, 2nd item) and Id Sweat Acne and Overall Anti-bacterial Gel (Bottom left, third item).

Id Sweat Acne and Overall Anti-bacterial Gel

This tiny bottle of anti-bacterial gel is amazingly effective - especially so when targetting sweat acne. You know how some people get little oily beads on their back / neck when they perspire? Those are caused by bacteria, and this Id Sweat Acne and Overall Anti-bacterial Monolaurin Gel is the perfect skincare to combat those annoying, ugly zits.

Here's how the gel looks like

This Overall Anti-bacterial Gel works very well being a wide-spectrum anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-protozoal treatment. Here's my before and after shot after using it on a wild pimple on my forehead:

The Before picture was taken at about 7AM while the After picture was taken at about 2PM on the same day. Look at the difference some 7 hours later! No photoshop and no make up and concealer. Just look at how less angry the pimple is already. :)

You can read some other amazing reviews from here. In clinical studies, this gel had a success rate of 100% when treating sweat acne, while keeping skin cooler, preventing over-sweating, and therefore preventing recurrence.

Unlike less skin-friendly anti-acne antibiotics and anti-fungals, this gel showed 0% irritation.

It is also ideal for use on bare skin or under make-up to prevent shine and give skin a naturally fresh, matte finish.

The only lament I have is yet again, its wide opening! I had to do a quick tipping action and then pull the bottle upright again so that I won't have a big lump of gel on my palm. The bottle is also difficult to squeeze, so I can foresee a lot of banging when the gel runs low lol.

Grandma Minnie’s Mommycoddling All-Over Lotion

I personally love the Grandma Minnie’s Mommycoddling All-Over Lotion because it relieves dry, itchy skin very well, absorbs easily and does not leave an oily residual. It is also very gentle and suitable for little babies, so I've been applying it for Dylan too.

When I opened the flip-open bottle, I was really happy to see a small opening to the lotion - imagine how much lotion will slip out onto my hand if the opening gets any bigger!

I only wish that the bottle can be squeezed so that the lotion can be dispensed out easily!

Another special mention, you should also try Grandma Minnie's Big Brave Boo Boo Balm. It is not in this VMVery Favourite Things, but I think mummies with babies can try this balm! I used it on Dylan's heat rash on the nape of his neck just a couple of times, there are no more rashes now.

Also used it on some dry area of Dy's skin and it soothens it very well too.

In my next review, I will be reviewing VMV Hypoallergenic's Superwash Hair and Body Milk Shampoo and Sport 70 Sunblock. Stay tuned!
