2nd Date with Baby A

Wednesday, November 02, 2011

I think I've mentioned before in my Twitter:

In life, you don't need many people. You just need those who are always there for you, to lift you up when you fall, pat you clean, and then guide you along this course of life.

Most importantly, these people won't judge you for whatever thoughts you have (trust me, sometimes, I have very evil and selfish thoughts lol), and they'd never betray your trust.

And the reason why I'm saying this now, is because I'm truly thankful for the close group of friends I have. Especially XY. And of course, Nian. :)

I was feeling kinda terrible over the weekend - long story short, I think my self-righteousness got me a bit too far. I always think fucked up people don't deserve any nice things in life, but then again, how unfucked am I to judge?

So I sent a few messages to my sis, and before I know it, I was crashing their family outing. Hee.

And I hijacked Amanda as well. Hehehe.

I don't know about you, but seeing my sis and this baby girl definitely made my night better. Of course, a hug or two from the husband also made me happier but unfortunately, he had to go to work.

Gahhhhh makes me feel like my husband is back in BMT days where he needs to book in on Sundays! >:(

Dined at Crystal Jade at Causeway Point, even though the last time XY and I went, it wasn't fantastic. Urm... it still isn't la, to be honest. LOL.

The Claypot Brinjal with Minced Pork was not bad though, but the 3 Cups Chicken we ordered tasted funny.

Baby A was annoyed after a while. I dunno, was it me? D:

Maybe it was the empty stomach that made her an angry woman, because just before that, we had a great conversation! A was telling me about her life story, which is probably only 60 days long.

Mama Chan told me that babies tend to be soothed by the "orhhhh la la la" chant when they are annoyed. I used it on A, it works haphazardly LOL.

Yes, Auntie Jac is super evil! Baby A cry until like that already but all I wanted, was to take a picture haahahahaha. Apparently, I still find her cries funny. :P

After loads of "orh la la"s, "ABC" and Barney's "I Love You, You Love Me" on repeat mode, I surrendered A over to Kevin.

XY brought her to the nursing room, and she came back all happy and satisfied.

Ahhhh... Daddy and Mummy knows best, isn't it?

Thanks for having me hanging out with you guys, jie! I'm already missing the smell of Amanda's tummy, hehehe.
