[Adv] Start Off Your Monday with E.T.C Store!

Sunday, October 02, 2011

I don't know about you, but I personally like to combat those annoying Monday Blues with new clothes.

I mean, what is a better motivation to work than to wear new clothes, bags, shoes or even accessories??

Recently, I was invited to E.T.C's weekend shop for a small tour and I got to try out a couple of dresses that are really, really nice!

Take this one for example - I've got the Hermes-inspired Banana Bag ($45) which I ABSOLUTELY love (may be getting this one aft my next pay!) and I paired it with a Chanel-inspired dress ($69), coupled with a nice, beige work jacket ($50) from Korea.

Love the puffy sleeves of the jacket!

Normally, E.T.C operates out of their blogshop (click on Photos to see a full range of their products!), but once a month, they will host pop-up stores just to cater to the customers who prefer to feel, touch and try the latest apparels.

In September, their pop-up store was at Yong Siak Street, just steps away from the famous 40 Hands Coffee.

My stylist-cum-maid-of-honour-for-my-wedding, Daen, whom you can also ask for advice, picked out a Stella McCartney-inspired dress ($80) for me to try.

I love it! It makes me look kinda skinny in real life, even though not so much in pictures. The dress is also of high quality, so what you pay for is what you get.

Having two little front pockets, it is quite convenient cuz I can slip in my handphone sometimes when I need to do something amidst my whatsapp-ing.

Apart from apparels, you can expect unique hairbands (which get sold out really quickly), rings, bracelets, cuffs, necklaces and chains and even these speckys Daen and I are wearing.

The only regret I have for the day is not putting on enough make-up! I look so pale it's scary. :S

Here's a shot of Nian, with his singlet ($20) that Daen made him try. I like how cute the wollen pocket is! And I'm wearing the Chanel-inspired top ($69) that I paired it with the Korean jacket earlier on.

It looks a bit like pjs but that's because it wasn't ironed before I wore it. Besides, my lack of make-up and messy hair made me look like I just woke up LOL.

Here's a close up of Nian's toned arms and the colourful woolen pocket.

If you're interested in inspired fashion brands at affordable prices, then you must head down to E.T.C's pop-up store this month, on the 8th and 9th of October, from 12PM to 5PM.

This time, they are at the quaint colonial bar - Colbar.

Enjoy a pint of ice, cold beer and their popular Curry Pork Chop while you shop. If that's not perfect, I don't know what is!

If you haven't realized, E.T.C's pop-up store moves from one place to another so catch them while they are in town! This time, you can expect loads of new collection for both girls AND guys. Now your men wouldn't need to sit at the sofa and wait grumpily while you shop. :D

I'm definitely looking forward to my banana bag and this other dress I tried the other time (and had dilemma picking between that and my Stella McCartney inspired). :P

See you at Colbar next weekend!!
