Yes double trouble today even though I am super exhausted from work! (Scroll down for new updates!)

Don't be mistaken though, work has been fun, and I'm trying to be a sponge and absorb as much as I can! It's so far so good but some of my evil friends think that it is the "work honeymoon" now, and my enthusiasm will die off probably when the honeymoon is over.

Wa lao, work also have honeymoon one lor!

But well, I do hope that my love for the job will continue to fuel me through the time I am going to be working, because I always believe in the phrase, “Find a job you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life”.

I certainly haven't felt that I've been working for the past 2 days, which is good news, right? :D I don't want to get burnt out so quickly yet!

So, let's get on with today's TiW.

Today's feature is slightly different from our usual accessories, clothes and stuff revolving around beauty.

Ok, it does revolve around beauty, but in a different way. Today, I am introducing you guys the brand new Epson ME Series.

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is the Epson ME Office 900WD ($298).

This is one of my favourite printers in the ME (MaxEconomy) series for offices!

Why so?

1. Epson uses Epson DURABrite™ Ultra Ink, which is smudge, fade and water resistant for all the printers in the ME series. That means, you no longer need to worry about water smudges, rain, or even when you sneeze! (Yes, some people have really fluid sneeze one, don't play play!)

Say byebye to ink smudges!

Take a look at these 2 pieces of print outs. I took them when I attended the Epson ME launch just a few weeks back.

As you can see, the ink from the left print-out have all faded, while the one on the right remains vibrant.

This is largely because of the difference in ink.

Ordinary printers use water based ink for their cartridges. And since they are water based, what happens when they get in contact with water?

They dissolve.

So when they dissolve, you will achieve the results as you can see on the left print out.

2. Epson ME Printer prints faster than your ordinary printer.

The Epson ME Office 900WD can print 36 draft pages per minute (ppm), laser-quality A4 prints at 15 ppm in monochrome and 7.1ppm in colour! That's like about 1 time faster than ordinary printers.

As mentioned earlier, I attended the Epson ME Launch hosted by Alaric Tay, whom we all fondly know as Andre Chichak on The Noose! (I actually remembered wrongly as him being B. B. See, how embarrasing -____-)

Basically, the launch is set up similarly like a talk show, with us being the audiences! They even have a games segment where I shamelessly volunteered myself to take part in. :P

My competitor was Adli, correspondent for Berita Harian. He was superbly nice to me, and so... with me paying attention to what was being presented....

I won the game segment and Epson gave me an Epson ME 320 as a prize WOOHOO!!!!

Such a beauty, isn't she? :D

This Epson ME 320 ($148 only!!) is more suitable for home use, with a monthly print volume of less than 200 pages.

Even though all of these are inkjet series, one of the reasons why you should consider Epson is because of their print quality.

It is comparable to laser jet printer.

And with the new Epson DURABrite™ Ultra Ink, it also comes with a new Micro Piezo print head technology that uses a somewhat electric element to "push" the ink out. With this new print head, Epson promises a varied size of ink to achieve a seamless effect on pictures.

Ordinary printheads uses the heating element to "melt" the ink out, but overtime, the ink will coagulate around the print head, thus producing uneven printing..... resulting in ugly pictures. :(

Took pictures with Alaric and then tried to confuse him by speaking with him that Hong Kong accent he was so good with in The Noose, LOL.

This is completely not my idea ok.

3. Last but definitely not the least reason why you should buy the Epson ME Series, is that the ink cartridges are so compact and so low-cost running, it only costs $0.025 to print one page of document!

These 2 are not the only printers launched, there are in fact more that you can refer to:

December is coming, and along comes IT fair. If you have printers that run out of ink superbly fast, or ink cartridges are ridiculously expensive, constant smudging printouts... or any dissatisfaction with your current printer, maybe you could check out this range of Epson printers!

I have been using my Epson TX200 for like since forever, and now that I have a younger generation of Epson for me to use (print name cards! Print RSVP cards! Btw, you can print on almost ANY surface! Transparency, plastic, paper, whatever.)....

Sigh, I haven't been this happy for quite a while! (Until I secured the job, that is! :P)
